Almost all the companies have their own enterprise culture, however it is big or small, but Alibaba.com's is especially strong. Each employee who joins this corporation must do a culture training, for establishing the new values to fit the environment, and speeding the adequate process.
There are 6 values in Alibaba.com must be accepted and followed:
1. Customer comes first. Customers are our everything.
2. Teamwork and coorperation. When working hand in hand as a team, ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
3. Embrace change. Welcome change, encourage innovation.
4. Integrity. Honest and upright, in spirit and in actions.
5. Passion. Never give up. Always stay optimistic.
6. Honoring your job. Professionalism and persistence, keep on improving.
The first 3 items for things done, and the last 3 items for private done, if you cannot fulfill the 6 principles then you'd be unhappy, because you can find no people more than these, you will be lonely. Alibaba.com is an ordinary company, but it has extraordinary goal and archivements, so that these values will enhance the employees' spirit and drive them more excellence. Maybe a proverb can describe this totally: the successful companies are almost the same, and the failures are different.
